I would suggest they include breakfast in their rates or lower the cost as 13Euro is was too expensive per person. Bed was large and comfy and heating/air con was good. If you have a room on the street side it can get noisy but it didnt bother us as that is what Spain is all about.

It was also very close to the metro, so nothing was difficult to reach. The only negative point was that, on arrival, which was between the times we had previously stated, we were given a smoking room, despite requesting a non-smoking room. When we complained, they admitted that no non-smoking room would be available for another half hour. However, they shifted our cases for us in our absence, (as we wanted to go straight out on arrival), and gave us free drinks in the bar later on as compensation, so all was forgiven. Apart from that, everything was great, including the large breakfast, with cooked breakfast also available. Very clean rooms, and amazingly quiet, and the staff always cheerful and courteous. Would definitely use this hotel again.

We were warmly welcomed at reception, and given plenty of information regarding the city and what it had to offer. Our room was clean and well presented. The bed was LARGE and comfortable, and it was very quiet in the hotel, so we got a good rest. The cafe bar was busy and offered a wide selection of food and drinks. This hotel is more suited to couples rather than families. We will definetly use this hotel again.

With this being our first visit to Barcelona the location of the hotel was ideal, we didnt want anywhere to noisy but within walking distance of La Rambla so it was perfect. Thanks to all your staff who made our stay a very pleasent one.

The reception area was tiny, therefore any attempt at eye contact from the the reception staff would be quite easy, however there was none! no smiles, no 'good morning or evening'in fact nothing!! Also when we asked for some more tea bags and milk for the room on the second night, (having used the two which were there when we arrived) we were told we would need to pay for them!!!!!!!!! ok the hotel was not expensive but was also not the cheapest around....and hey a smile costs nothing! The staff were very courteous and helpful with providing information. I was able to use their computer for internet access; the room was well equipped and clean; and the central location was very convenient. The only problem we experienced was they were digging the road up in front of the hotel so our taxi couldn't get to the front door.
