No car needed. ATM machine around corner from hotel. Very safe location, nearby restaurants. Helpful staff. I only wish they had coffee or tea available in lobby. Use the map site link to view location in Madrid. Would stay here again.

This was a last minute change for us due to cancellation of our flight due to a hurricane the week before we actually arrived in Madrid. We had a hard time finding a hotel closer to the Puerta del Sol area where we had our previous hotel for a reasonable price. So my comments are more to the inconvenience due to the delayed trip than to the hotel itself. The hotel is very nice and clean for the area it is located in, but it was not our first choice. The hotel staff was very acoommodating to our needs. Could provide wireless internet connections for hotel guests in their room as opposed to using setup down in lobby.
