Then we call the reception, it took more than 1 hour for them to send a person to "have a look" and the person is the cleaning lady :( after an other 30mins they sent the technician. Besides that, everything is fine.

Very patient with our lack of Spanish. Morning and evening staff were so very helpful to us. Location was great for walking to and from exhibits/shops/museums/Royal Palace, etc. Only complaint was the odor in the room, I believe it has to do with sewage. We had to leave the balcony doors open all night as the smell was too strong. The weather was lovely so that was not a problem. Ideal for singles or leisure only due to the noise from the street below your balcony. Hotel is right in the heart of Sol and huge crowds day and night. All said, I would stay there again because of the proximity to attractions, the metro and just the excitment of Madrid......we loved it.
